The Bosch NBN-71013-BA DINION IP starlight 7000 HD Day/Night IP Box Camera with IVA captures 720p HD images at 60 ips. The camera offers IP video and simultaneously outputs analog video via an SMB connector. This hybrid functionality offers an easy migration path from an analog CCTV to IP-based system. The camera features a mechanical filter that allows it to capture images in color with illumination as low as 0.017 lux and in B&W up to 0.0057 lux. The filter can be switched remotely, or automatically via a light level sensor or contact input.

Content-Based Imaging Technology (C-BIT) ensures crisp, clear, detailed images in all lighting conditions. The camera features intelligent video analytics (IVA) that provides feedback to retune the image processing and provide detailed images of key areas. The camera uses intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (iDNR) that actively analyzes the contents of a scene and reduces noise artifacts accordingly. The low-noise image and H.264 compression technology provide clear images while reducing bandwidth and storage requirements. Additionally, area-based encoding allows you to configure compression parameters for up to eight user-definable regions. This allows uninteresting regions to be highly compressed, leaving more bandwidth for important parts of the scene. The camera supports simultaneous streaming of H.264 and Mâ¿¿JPEG streams for bandwidth-efficient viewing and recording as well as integration with third-party video management systems.

The remote E-PTZ controls allow you to select specific areas of the parent image that can be streamed together with the main stream, allowing the operator to separately monitor the most interesting part of a scene while still retaining situational awareness. The camera conforms to the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) Profile S specification that ensures interoperability between network video products regardless of manufacturer.

PoE capabilities enable a single network to be used for viewing, supplying power, and controlling the camera. The camera can also be supplied with power from 12VDC/24VAC power supplies. To increase system reliability, the camera can be simultaneously connected to both PoE and +12 VDC/24 VAC supplies. Additionally, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) can be used, which allows continuous operation, even during a power failure. The auto-focus lens wizard makes it easy for an installer to accurately focus the camera for both day and night operation. The automatic motorized back focus adjustment with 1:1 pixel mapping ensures the camera is always focused accurately.
